We were formed in response to the recently announced legislation from the government of Alberta targeting queer and trans youth. Our primary goal is to highlight queer excellence across the Canadian hospitality industry in order to build community and support queer causes.
100% of proceeds from the zine will be donated to the Skipping Stone Trans Affirming Legal Fund.

Our founder, Calliope Draper, is a trans-feminine bartender, educator and activist currently based in Amiskwaciwaskihikan, colonially known as Edmonton. She has traveled across Canada speaking on building queer inclusive spaces in the hospitality industry. She is guided by the philosophy that building a better world starts with building b

She is guided by the philosophy that building a better world starts with building better communities; and to build better communities we must first build inclusive spaces.
